We support families.

Affordable access to high-quality education is for everyone.

Hacienda CDC provides important education and social support services in our communities and in schools to approximately 360 youth and children from birth to 8th grade and developed our Resident Services program in response to the needs of our communities.

Our Youth and Family Services provides support for parents, children and students through parent and student education programs; afterschool activities, STEM, technology, and workforce readiness programming.

for youth under age 5

Sembrando Semillitas

Sembrando Semillitas aims to reduce academic and health disparities among Latino children by providing support for families with children from birth to age five. Parents participate in weekly parenting support groups, educational workshops and monthly home visits from Hacienda’s Early Childhood Educators, monitoring their child’s health and development.

For grades k–8

Expresiones

Expresiones is an after-school program for residents of our Hacienda CDC communities that are in grades K–8th. We offer academic support, personal enrichment (arts, crafts, sports, etc.), service learning, and foster parent involvement in their child’s schooling.

For All Ages

Hacienda’s Connect Initiative: Arrobas

Hacienda CDC works to bridge the digital divide with laptop, wireless distribution, and launch of a remote learning program along with community events that aim to increase digital literacy.

for our residents

Resident Services

The resident services team helps aid day to day operations related to residents in housing. We function as a liaison between the property manager and our residents and work to enhance the living environment of the community through outreach, creative programming, supportive services and ensure that the mission of Hacienda CDC is brought to life.
