Portland Mercado brings together diverse cultures through food, art, and entertainment and gives local entrepreneurs a place to see their dreams become reality. Today, the Portland Mercado is home and an incubator for over 100 local businesses.
What We Do
The dream of developing the first Latinx public market in Portland grew in response to wealth disparities in our region and the strong community desire to have a center for commerce based on our heritage.
Based on an incubator model and economic development initiative, the Portland Mercado has been a hub for local businesses and Latin-American culture since 2015.
We invite you to visit and support the Portland Mercado where you can experience a Portland-style taste of Latin America, all while supporting the small businesses in our vibrant community.
