Every year Hacienda brings together trusted businesses and organizations to help first-time homebuyers on the path to homeownership.
Connect face-to-face with organizations, resources, and education to aid in your home buying journey and access the tools you need to reach your dream.

Where: Rockwood Village (783 SE 185th Ave, Portland, OR 97233)
This event is free to the public and registration is required. Classes will be offered in English and Spanish. Attend one of the classes to win a financial assistance prize towards becoming a homeowner.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the homebuying process by attending one of our four scheduled classes. You'll learn about key topics such as credit readiness, financial preparedness, mortgage readiness, ITIN lending, and the specific steps to become a Hacienda client.
Each class will be led by a Hacienda Housing Advisor, with insights from a Lender representative and a Realtor. After the session, you'll have the chance to ask our team any questions you may have about your homebuying journey.

After completing the class, you'll be eligible to participate in a drawing for a chance to win a financial assistance prize. This prize includes free enrollment as a Hacienda client and the opportunity to work with a counselor to assess your financial situation. Together, you'll determine the best way to use the prize based on your unique needs—whether it's paying off debt, building your credit, or saving for closing costs.

Yes! Child care will be available for children aged 5 to 12 while you attend the homebuying class.
We’ll also be serving tamales for all Homebuying class attendees and their guests, ensuring you enjoy a delicious treat during the event.

We highly encourage you to pre-register for the event and to arrive at least 30 minutes early. This will give you ample time to park, drop off your children at child care, and explore the resource tables featuring various homeownership providers.

Please park at the East County Courthouse Parking lot located at 18600 SE Stark St, Portland, OR 97233. You can access this parking lot from SE Stark; it’s situated just south of Taco Bell.
IMPORTANT: Please do not park in the Rockwood Village residential parking lot.
