The Early Childhood Educator & Program Aide provides information, support and encouragement that parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. Using the Parents as Teachers curriculum the Early Childhood Educator & Program Aide will serve Latinx families with children 0-5 years of age. This is done by providing education in the form of home visits, group meetings, screenings, and linkages to a network of resources for parents and children. This position also includes general program support through data entry and group planning.

The position of Default Prevention Coordinator helps to provide resources and services that address specific elements of an individual’s financial life. These services include financial education, coaching, credit counseling, incentivized savings programs, and provide access to safe and affordable financial products.

Situated in the first Latinx public market in the city, the Mercado offers business advising, training, an affordable commissary kitchen, and sales opportunities for low-income entrepreneurs from all over the world – and from right here in Portland. We have had folks start out with us that have gone on to open food carts, sell at New Seasons, and more. We are a small, creative team that has lots of energy – and are a part of a bigger organization Hacienda CDC that does a wide range of community work.
This position will be responsible on-boarding clients into our affordable commercial kitchen. We are looking for someone to join our team who is a culturally competent navigator, connector, and people person. Fluent in Spanish and English.
The Director of Philanthropy is a high-level, senior management position and responsible for creating, planning and implementing an overall fund development strategy for the organization. This role is perfect for the candidate who enjoys building and growing overall fundraising efforts. Hacienda currently has an operating budget of $4M per year with 46% of revenue coming from government, corporate/business and foundation grants. Hacienda is looking for a leader to build on this base of traditional funding methods and to create and integrate new and alternative funding strategies.
