Real Estate Developer

Position Summary

The Real Estate Developer position performs work in the real estate development department, primarily of housing projects to further Hacienda’s mission to provide affordable housing to those with low incomes including families, seniors, people with disabilities and people experiencing homelessness. The Real Estate Developer takes a lead role in project managing the real estate development process, e.g. identifying sites, evaluating project feasibility, securing financing, securing a development team, advising on design, supervising construction and the construction budget, and transitioning new construction/rehab projects to Hacienda’s Asset Management Department. These tasks include providing direction to a development team of varied partners.

Mercado Program Director

Position Summary:

The Mercado Programs Director is a strategic leader who formulates and implements Hacienda’s mission, vision, values, strategies and programs. The Portland Mercado is a brand of the Hacienda Family. Key areas of responsibility are resource development, partnership development, staff management, programs management and evaluation, as well as program expansion to areas such as Hillsboro, Gresham and Vancouver. Primary programs are the Mercado retail space, Entrepreneurship Program for new or expanding small businesses, and a Commercial Kitchen.
