Home assistance program
Household Assistance Program for those impacted by COVID-19 is now closed.
We are in the process of verifying submitted applications and sending them to United Way for processing.
Someone from Hacienda CDC will be in touch with you if you did not qualify or did not meet our deadline for submission.
For verified and accepted applications: cards will be mailed to the address listed in your application. Please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for cards to be processed and mailed to you.
Have you or someone in your household been negatively impacted by COVID-19?
You may be eligible for home help and assistance.
To receive the aid they must meet the following requirements:
- Be over 18 years old
- Be a resident of the City of Portland
- Have experienced a loss of income due to factors related to COVID-19 or have had health problems or are at high risk of infection or health vulnerability related to COVID-19
- Have a household income equal to or less than 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Funds are limited. Please fill out the application to see if you qualify for home assistance.
Applications close on December 14, 2020.
This program provides a $500 bank card to those who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and meet the eligibility criteria. Only for City of Portland Residents.
Rent Assistance – The Rental Assistance program closed applications on Friday, November 6 at 1:30 pm
This program provides assistance to pay:
- Current or future rent payments
- Rent Arrears
- Security Deposits
- Application Fees
For City of Portland residents and Multnomah County residents.
Please have your landlord’s phone number and email address ready when completing the application.
