Preparing prospective homebuyers for homeownership

Clients work closely with financial coaches and HUD-certified housing counselors throughout the entirety of the home-buying process. In addition to mortgage readiness and financial fitness workshops, we provide various opportunities for down-payment assistance.

1. Coaching

In our one-on-one coaching sessions, we work with you on all the pieces required to purchase and own a home – from credit building and financial stability to your long-term goals. Our goal is to guide and equip you with the knowledge necessary to make the best financial decisions for you and your family.

2. Education

In addition to our one-on-one meetings, we offer intensive day-long seminars that provide you with the essentials of financial literacy and the fundamentals of home-buying. You’ll learn how to build budgets, eliminate your debt, and navigate through financial obstacles.

3. Funding

Thanks to great partnerships, we offer to fund to partially or entirely cover down payments and closing costs through opportunities like our 5:1 IDA match savings plan (the Individual Development Account) to larger down payment assistance loans. Eligibility requirements vary by program.
